During the April meeting of the commission, Sweetwater Mayor Doyle Lowe informed the board that Sweetwater Fire Chief John Anderson, along with City Attorney John Cleveland and the fire department’s insurance carrier all recommended a formal interlocal agreement for fire and rescue when assisting other agencies outside of the city limits.
