Biography

I'm a lover of words. I always have been for as long as I can remember. I learned to read and write, and those were my immediate outlets, especially growing up as a teen who loved reading avidly. I’ve written for my own enjoyment creatively such as short stories and poems until I published my first book Voices on the Air in 2017, published via Amazon. In between my creative writing, I’ve contributed to online publication The Commute and local print newspaper San Diego Voice and Viewpoint as a contributing writer with journalistic flare. I’ve also written for lifestyle blogs Style and Men, Dean Hall Style, and Harness Magazine. I currently contribute to online horror publication Hear Us Scream for movie and book reviews. My own blog is currently under contruction along with my upcoming review blog, The S Reaction.

  • 'That first impression sets the tone for the entire experience' – 3 entryway design rules Shea McGee says to always follow

By Shea McGee| Homes & Gardens Magazine Verified The moment you cross the threshold into a home's entryway you are handed the visual keys to how to rest of the space will unfold. Whether you are greeted by soaring ceilings and a winding staircase or a scatter rug and a few hooks on the wall, every home has an opportunity to make an entrance. I like to think of an entryway like a greeting; you can be welcoming with a warm hug or handshake - but that first impression sets the tone for the entire experience.
