East Asia Forum

East Asia Forum (EAF) is an international policy platform dedicated to the Asia Pacific region. Established in 2006 by Peter Costello, it operates under the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University (ANU). EAF provides expert analysis on various topics, including economics, politics, business, law, security, and public policy. The forum is co-edited by Shiro Armstrong and Peter Drysdale and is a collaborative effort of the East Asian Bureau of Economic Research (EABER) and the South Asian Bureau of Economic Research (SABER). EAF publishes two daily peer-reviewed articles that offer policy-focused insights from leading academics and experts. It also produces the East Asia Forum Quarterly, a magazine that provides in-depth research and commentary on Asia Pacific affairs. Additionally, EAF offers weekly editorials and a daily digest for subscribers, ensuring that policymakers, academics, and professionals engaged in Asia Pacific affairs have access to authoritative content. All articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, ensuring high-quality analysis.
