Simon has extensive experience in content creation including blog posts, copywriting for websites, social media updates, photography and videos for a variety of organisations and brands including the Canary Islands tourism department, the Lanzarote Business and Residents Association, the Resort Development Organisation, Canary Green, Tenerife Magazine and many more, over the past five years. He has lived and worked in a variety of locations across the world including Lanzarote and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Bucharest the capital of Romania, the city of Barrie in Ontario, Canada, as well as various locations in the UK where he was born and grew up. Simon is a strong believer in the educational and social benefits of travel and has visited over 20 countries in his life, but is now focused on the promotion of sustainable travel. Simon is extremely focused on trying to improve the world, reduce inequality and environmental destruction and promote sustainable development which drew him to working with the Island Innovation team.
