Sophie Prettyman-Beauchamp is a Los Angeles-born-and-based music journalist, photographer, and multidisciplinary creative. During their time in film school, they hosted a radio show on KUCI 88.9 FM and began writing about Southern California rock scene, DIY communities, live music, and up-and-coming indie artists. Over the past 5 years, Sophie has covered festivals from Desert Daze to Treefort, photographed numerous gigs, and has interviewed emerging artists from Sloppy Jane to contemporary indie crossovers like Durand Jones & The Indications. Their photos and words have appeared in publications such as Atwood Magazine, The Light Leaks, Be In A Band Or Die, and Marauder's Magazine.
