  • Drivers have safety fears over smart motorways like the M1 will be near Nottingham

A survey carried out during March of this year questioned 2,500 people - and found reservations among motorists about how they operate. Works are taking place to make the section from Junction 23a for the A453 near East Midlands Airport in Leicestershire up to Junction 25 for the A52 a smart section of motorway.
