Biography
Stan Portus is BikeRadar's Content Editor, developing and growing key-traffic driving content, writing news, long-form features, interviews, and much more. He has also been instrumental in increasing and maintaining BikeRadar's social media presence since September 2021 and he manages its twice-weekly newsletter. His writing has appeared in C Magazine, Ossian Magazine, Photomonitor, Disegno, Emotional Art Magazine, Design Exchange Magazine, Review 31 and others. Alongside writing, Stan has worked as a researcher on a number of projects including Night Fever: Designing Club Culture, 1960 – today (Vitra Design Museum) and EP Vol. 3: Post-craft (Sternberg Press, 2022). In 2017, Stan graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Critical Writing in Art & Design. Stan co-edited the Critical Writing in Art & Design end-of-year publication Meet Me in the Present: Documents and their afterlives, an anthology of essays which examines the power of collective action. Stan holds a BA in the History of Design, Culture and Society from the University of Brighton.

If you didn’t know, Oakley is the official sunglasses sponsor for the Tour de France. Each year, you’ll see members of the peloton wearing special-edition Oakleys in honour of the Grande Boucle. The Oakley Velo Katos were only released last week, but we’ve already got our hands on the Tour de France version.

As part of its spring-summer 2025 drop, Supreme has revealed a collection of SpongeBob-themed cycling kit produced by Castelli. The collection includes a long-sleeve jersey, bib shorts, a cycling cap and aero socks. This isn’t the first time Castelli and Supreme have collaborated.
By Stan Portus Verified| BikeRadar Verified Rouvy will be compatible with Zwift hardware from 12 February thanks to its new virtual shifting, making it the first platform other than Zwift to support the brand’s devices. While Zwift is the biggest indoor cycling app, Rouvy has been making successive changes to its platform in recent months, which could help it appeal to more riders. Rouvy announced it was introducing new social features and better event organisation last year.
