Steps to Success, offering opportunities for low-income students in Brookline, looks to widen its reach

In any form it takes, its goal is to close the “opportunity gap” between low-income students and their peers in Brookline. The nonprofit, which has been around for 20 years, has recently begun expanding its programming to more families through one-time federal pandemic aid. “We’re a big believer in foundation at Steps,” said Executive Director Nia Jacobs.
