A 501c3 nonprofit, SCVTV operates the channel under contract with the Santa Clarita Public Television Authority, which consists of the City of Santa Clarita, William S. Hart Union High School District, Santa Clarita Community College District (COC), Saugus Union School District, Newhall School District, Castaic Union School District and Sulphur Springs Union School District. SCVTV provides television, webcasting, podcasting and new media services to schools, other nonprofits, and individual producers.
