(Displayed only in PhotoShelter Forums) Steve Apps is an award winning photographer who is the Chief photographer/ Photo Editor at the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, Wisconsin. His photo coverage of the Green Bay Packers has been recognized five times by the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In 2008 he was awarded the Dave Boss Award of Excellence by the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the 2007 football season, Photo of the Year. Other photojournalism honors include awards from The Pictures of The Year Competition; Milwaukee Press Club; and Wisconsin News Photographers Association. In 2012 the Wisconsin State Journal was a Pulitzer Prize Finalist for "Breaking News Reporting" of the protests in the State Capitol over collective bargaining rights. Many of his photos were included in the entry. In the Thirty plus years as a photojournalist and sports photographer, Apps has covered over 250 NFL games, and three Super Bowls. To keep fresh, I also try to diversify my shooting to include documentary, travel, and nature photography.
