Pittsburgh

Biography

I'm a reporter on the politics and governing desk at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a newspaper dating back to 1786. It serves Pittsburgh and its outlying suburbs in western Pennsylvania. Previously, I worked at MoCo360, a daily online news site serving much of Montgomery County, Maryland. Before that, I worked as a County/State Reporter at the Frederick News-Post in Frederick, Maryland. I've interned at multiple newspapers in Philadelphia, and was News Editor of The Temple News, Temple University's award-winning student-run newspaper. My first professional gig was at the Globe Gazette in Mason City, Iowa. I've also co-hosted a radio show in London, and worked at a college newspaper there while studying abroad. I've been to 13 countries in Europe. It's safe to say I like to travel.
