  • Banh Mi Cafe, serving Vietnamese cuisine, to open downtown

By Steve Cahalan| La Crosse Tribune Verified Remodeling is under way for the new Banh Mi Cafe, which Keng Lor expects to open in late May on the first floor of the City Square building at 444 Main St. in downtown La Crosse. “It will be mostly Vietnamese” cuisine, Lor told me this week. The menu will include such things as sandwiches (most will be served hot), bowls, barbecue ribs, salads and spring rolls. The cafe will have a variety of banh mi sandwiches, Thai coffee, boba tea and smoothies.
