The Fort Payne Times-Journal publishes twice weekly, distributed to the homes/businesses of subscribers and news rack customers each Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year. We also publish a monthly magazine called DeKalb Living and special sections throughout the year. Fort Payne is the county seat of DeKalb County in northeast Alabama. We innovate in our state with adoption of the first all-electric school buses and vocational programs teaching high school students how to fly and repair drones, as just two recent examples.
