Key Facts and Achievements • Founded a PR and integrated marketing agency (Imperium Comms) when I was 20 years old and later launched Formula1News.co.uk, which in a matter of months grew to become one of the most popular dedicated F1 news sites in the UK. • Involved in journalism since the age of 16, initially ghostwriting for financial news sites with a focus on US banking and tech stocks. • Promoted to Editor at Sputnik News just after turning 20, following around nine months of working as a full-time reporter at the news agency. As an Editor, I worked with reporters on their content across three Sputnik offices – London, Moscow and New Delhi – ranging from breaking news pieces, detailed analysis articles, exclusives, straight news stories, interviews and listicles. • Interviewed the Foreign Minister of the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) about the autonomous region’s post-ISIS economy and relations with Russia at the age of 18. • Freelanced as a political analyst/columnist for Sputnik News when I was 17 before joining as a full-time reporter. • Have articles published both in print and online in Gulf News, one of the largest English-language newspapers in the Middle East, with an average daily circulation in excess of 100,000. • Completed the CFA UK’s Investment Management Certificate (IMC) course in 2018 (self-studied). • Have been interviewed about the Syria crisis numerous times by RT Deutsch, and once by the Aydınlık newspaper, which was originally launched almost a decade ago as the Ottoman Empire’s first socialist newspaper. • Have interviewed several business leaders, ranging from cryptocurrency experts and investors, such as Nick Spanos, to CEOs and managers of multi-billion-pound corporations and funds.
