Capes posted a diatribe yesterday on the Facebook page “Former Councilman John Capes,” in which he represents himself as a “GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL.” Yesterday’s attack was directed at me, as founder of The Jamestowner.

My mom remembers my grandfather driving his horse and wagon to church at Deep River Friends from their farm on Old Mill Road.
