  • “Gravely Disabled” - How I Narrowly Escaped a Conservatorship

By Susan Standen Verified| Blogarama@ By Susan Stebbins Standen I travel up through translucent layers of reality. They lift one byone, slowly, imperceptibly, like filmy veils unwrapping a cocoon. A fewfaces, a garbled attempt to communicate a message from the afterlife, asharp pain in the back of my hand and the dull ache that lingers. When Ifinally wake, the room is empty.
