The annual event at the Ram Meadow stadium, on Saturday, raised £500 for the Bury Town Community FC (BTCFC) charity. First team players and coaching staff cheered on the pitch parade as players waved flags. Jason Day, trustee and recruitment officer for BTCFC, said the event was a ‘fantastic example of what Bury Town is all about’.

  • Easter bin collection changes confirmed for residents in Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, Newmarket, Stowmarket and Needham Market

    By Suzanne Day Verified| Bury Free Press Verified Councils across Suffolk have announced changes to bin collections due to the Easter bank holidays. West Suffolk CouncilIn West Suffolk, including Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Haverhill, changes will come into effect from tomorrow (Good Friday). Residents who would usually have their bins collected tomorrow will instead have them collected on Tuesday. Changes will then be in place until after the early bank holiday, on May 5. A normal service will then resume on Monday, May 12.
