From Douglas to Rock County, Wisconsin is home to roughly 80 airports selling leaded aviation gas, and more than a dozen are clustered in the southeastern part of the state. Higher rates of leaded gas are typically associated with flight schools and smaller, general aviation airports, such as Milwaukee County’s Timmerman Airport.

But starting next year, many homeowners will be able to offset some or all of those costs thanks to rebates offered in the Biden Administration's Inflation Reduction Act to replace old appliances with more climate-change friendly versions. Households that replace their furnaces with a heat pump, for example, would be eligible for rebates.
