Tanatsiwa Dambuza is a co-founder of the Zimbabwe Institute of African Integration, a non-profit organization that aims to promote regional trade and cooperation among African countries. He is also a regional trade consultant and an AfCFTA advisor, who has expertise in international trade law and diplomacy. He is passionate about advancing the African agenda 2063 and empowering youth and women in trade. He is an active researcher and writer on various topics related to the AfCFTA, such as its impact on poverty alleviation, conflict resolution, and climate change. He has participated in several online courses and webinars on the AfCFTA, and has shared his insights and recommendations with various media outlets. He is also an avid Twitter user, where he posts updates and opinions on the AfCFTA and other African issues. He is a graduate of the University of Zimbabwe, where he received the Best Male Student Award for his MSc in International Trade and Diplomacy. His thesis focused on the role of the AfCFTA in alleviating poverty among women informal cross-border traders. He is a proud Zimbabwean and a pan-Africanist who believes in the potential of Africa to achieve economic integration and prosperity.
