Biography
I write about my passions. I'm the author of travel guidebook The Bondi to Manly Walk (NewSouth Publishing, 2021) and am busy with another guidebook for a 2025 release. I'm also a freelance journalist writing feature articles focusing on travel, the outdoors and lifestyle. I've written for Escape (News Corp), Adventure .com, The Australian Women’s Weekly, The Guardian Australia, The New Zealand Herald and Great Walks magazine. With a Master of Arts in Journalism, I initially worked primarily as a radio producer on news and current affairs programs but gave it away to pursue a love of travel; self-employed as an owner operator for award-winning tour company Sydney Coast Walks which provided guided hikes. I transitioned this business to become a popular travel blog by the same name. This shift from journalism to tourism eventually made sense when I brought the two skills together as a travel writer.
