By Tavish Sweeney, Aidan Leonard| The News Record Verified Three boxers from the University of Cincinnati (UC) Club Boxing team picked up victories in their semifinal bouts to advance to the 2025 National Collegiate Boxing Association Championships (NCBA). Taking place at the Lawrenceburg Event Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the Cincinnati Club Boxing team featured five boxers competing in the semifinal rounds.

Pinto stating that F-1 visas for some UC international students had recently been revoked by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). While the email does not give a reason for the action, this news comes less than a week after Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that 300 student visas had been revoked nationwide.
