After completing my postgraduate degree in Journalism I spent over three months interning at Talking About My Generation - a magazine aimed at people aged 50 and over in Greater Manchester. In a statement about distancing the council from X, formerly Twitter, Vale of Glamorgan Council also said the decision was made in light of a significant decline in engagement. The local authority is one of the latest public bodies to announce that it will stop using the social media platform. North Wales Police is another Welsh body that has already done so.

Members of a Cardiff Council's committee were presented with an update on work to develop cycleways across the city at a meeting on Thursday, April 10. There are plans for six cycleways across Cardiff and a number of phases have already been completed.
