Ted Rall is an internationally-syndicated political cartoonist, columnist, graphic novelist and polemicist whose work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers around the world. Rall is an equal-opportunity offender who goes after both Democrats and Republicans. He has received thousands of death threats, including from the ISIS terrorist group and GOP presidential candidate Alan Keyes, and was listed as #15 on right-wing journalist Bernard Goldberg’s "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America (and Al Franken is #37)." He has also twice won the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for outstanding coverage of the problems of the disadvantaged, and been a Pulitzer Prize finalist, among other awards. Rall's graphic-novel format biographies of Edward Snowden and Bernie Sanders were both New York Times bestsellers. His graphic novel "Real Americans Admit: The Worst Thing I’ve Ever Done" won the Firecracker Alternative Book Award. Rall is also a conflict reporter with experience in Afghanistan, South and Central Asia and the Middle East. His book "To Afghanistan and Back" was the first book published about the 2001 U.S. invasion of Afghanistan and became a New York Times bestseller. Rall writes a syndicated column that appears in more than 40 newspapers, is co-host of the DMZ America podcast with conservative cartoonist Scott Stantis, is a featured essayist for The Wall Street Journal and a contributor to CenterClip, the audio political app. He is a frequent guest on talk radio. He has published over 20 books of art, prose and analysis.
