I'm Tej, a multimedia journalist with five years of experience in journalism. I specialize in visual communication, ground reporting, research, camera work, scripting, video editing and content curation. My expertise spans all phases of video content production—pre-production (research, scripting, shot lists), production (shooting, audio, interviews), and post-production (editing, subtitles). I focus on stories related to Governance, Society, Democracy and the Economy, having reported from over 10 states in India on various critical issues, including unemployment, health, education, poverty, agriculture, migration, caste discrimination, gender inequality, law and order, environment, communal divide, and human rights. Currently, I am working as a Freelance Producer at Newsreel Asia. My previous roles include Content Producer at ‘Hindustan Times,’ Assistant Editor at ‘Youth Ki Awaaz,’ and freelance journalist for platforms such as Religion Unplugged, Newslaundry, Mojo Story, and Mediavigil.
