According to the residents, the congestion is grossly affecting movement of people and vehicles in the area. Also affected due to the congestion are businesses lining the busy roadside.  “The presence of hawkers on either side of the road has been the main cause of congestion,” said Kamau Mutahi, a boda boda rider in the area.
