Before that, she was a canvasser and community organizer for AA & NH/PI advocacy nonprofit organizations in Georgia during the 2020 U.S. presidential election, the 2021 Georgia runoff election, and the 2021 Atlanta spa tragedy. With a background in theater, she has written, directed, and produced her own skits and plays. She’s also written, directed, and produced her own digital video series, "In Conversation With” for Joysauce.
