There were no injuries in the fire at a duplex near 30th and Read Streets. OFD says residents safely evacuated, as firefighters found a fire in the basement that was brought under control in about 20 minutes. By Terry Leahy| KFAB-AM (Omaha, NE) Verified (Fremont, NE) -- Investigators identify a suspect and a victim in a shooting in Dodge County that's being called a "domestic-violence-incident" by the Sheriff's Office. Investigators say on Saturday, a call for a traffic crash west of North Bend on U.S. Highway 30 near County Road 5 was followed by calls about a woman in a field covered in blood. Dodge County Sheriff's Deputies say 24-year old Billie Meadows of Georgia had injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. She died at a hospital in Omaha.
