Darrell DeMarcus Golden, 31, of Lakeland, awaits sentencing after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to a U.S. Department of Justice statement released Tuesday.

On March 4, a 911 call reported a shooting at Preston Place Apartments, a GBI statement said. Two men, ages 18 and 22, were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds. The 18-year-old remained hospitalized Monday, while the 22-year-old had been treated and released, the statement said.
