The followup probe is to analyze “meaningful progress” on the 29 recommendations, with special attention paid to the 2024 cyberattack that hijacked municipal IT networks. It’s too early to say how many of the confidential recommendations the city had acted upon when the ransomware breach struck, auditor Charles Brown said.
