By Theresa Goodrich| The Local Tourist@ I took that picture from my hotel room. So what? you ask. My hotel room was on the 23rd floor of the AC Hotel by Marriott in downtown Los Angeles. I’ve stayed in my share of accommodations that require shower shoes, and let me tell you, this definitely was not one of them. The AC was a block from the LA Convention Center, where the Travel and Adventure Show was held a couple of weeks ago. Parking in that area is not cheap. In fact, valet at the hotel was something like $60 a night.
