By Tiffany Devitt| Green State@ The California Cannabis Market 2024 Report attempts to paint a picture of industry stability, citing increased biomass production and rising wholesale flower prices as signs of a healthy market. But these numbers obscure a harsher reality: the state’s legal cannabis industry is stalled, manufacturing is collapsing, and much of the market (biomass and consumers) is being siphoned off by illicit operators.

Company Info
Project CBD
Project CBD, founded in 2010 by Martin A. Lee, is dedicated to providing comprehensive information on the therapeutic potential of cannabinoids, particularly cannabidiol (CBD). The organization aims to educate the public and medical community about the benefits and applications of CBD and other cannabinoids, promoting a better understanding of their medical uses. The primary services offered by Project CBD include consolidating peer-reviewed research on cannabinoids and organizing this information by health condition. This makes it accessible to both scientists and non-experts. Additionally, Project CBD raises awareness about the therapeutic effects of cannabinoids and engages with clinicians and researchers to foster discussions in cannabinoid medicine. The organization also explores other minor cannabinoids and compounds within the cannabis plant, reflecting its commitment to advancing knowledge in this evolving field.
