By Tim Wolak| WBND-TV (South Bend, IN) Verified MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced a section of Guam Avenue between Main Street and Normandy Drive will close starting on April 21 for utility extensions for the Normain Park Improvement Project. Officials say the construction work will last until May 23, weather permitting. Access for residents in the closure area will be maintained during the process. Barricades and signage will be in place, and motorists are requested to use caution to ensure the safety of the crews working.
By Tim Wolak| WBND-TV (South Bend, IN) Verified CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of M-60 and M-40 in Newberg Township around 1 p.m. Friday. The report states a vehicle, driven by 24-year-old Corey Chapman Jr. of Sunfield, Mich., was traveling south at the intersection. Authorities say at the same time, a vehicle, driven by 64-year-old Darlene Tucker of Three Rivers, was traveling east at the intersection.
