WCSO identified the suspect as Manuel Lopez-Gomez. Following the identification, authorities distributed a description of Lopez-Gomez, his vehicle, and his last known direction of travel to surrounding law enforcement agencies. The California Highway Patrol located and stopped Lopez-Gomez in Kern County, California.
