I have been writing a weekly wine column since 1985. The column appears in the Baltimore Sun, Capital-Gazette newspapers in Annapolis, and several other Maryland newspapers. It also appears online at the SouthFloridaReporter and appears occasionally in Gulfshore Life magazine, Napa Valley Register, and other newspapers associated with Tribune Media Co. I live in Naples, Florida, and travel extensively to wine-growing countries in Europe and the United States. Now retired, I worked in the newspaper industry for 40 years. Most recently I was the editor and publisher of Capital-Gazette Newspapers in Annapolis, Maryland.
