Biography

A native of Schuylkill County, PA, Tom graduated from Temple University in 2008. He performed in a critically acclaimed original documentary theater production called In Conflict, telling the true stories of veterans. The production toured internationally in Edinburgh, Scotland and Off-Broadway in NYC. Following that, he pursued acting, music and broadcasting in Los Angeles, starting his own news, sports and entertainment podcast. Tom began his news and sports reporting career on the Texas/Mexico border, working for NBC, Fox & Univision affiliates covering illegal immigration, drug trafficking and corruption, in addition to high school football & MMA. Following that, he worked as a sports director, anchor and news reporter for a CBS affiliate in Charleston, West Virginia, interviewing presidential candidate Hillary Clinton about the ongoing opioid crisis. He hails from Pottsville Pennsylvania and received a degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. While in Philly he produced and performed in a music collaboration called Acoustic Philly, recording his own music and helping other musicians get their music to the public. Following that, he toured with an original assemble theater piece called In Conflict which performed in Edinburg Scotland at the Edinburg Fringe Festival and Off-Broadway in NYC at the Barrow Street Theatre. Tom than relocated to Los Angeles, doing background acting in numerous films and TV shows and started his own podcast called 20SomethingTalk, interviewing various celebrities and news makers including Bob Saget, Al Roker and Elvira Mistress of the Dark. Tom came to the Valley in December of 2011 and was hired by Fox 2 in February of 2012.
