A lakeshore flood warning for Monroe County is under effect until 2 a.m. Saturday. Lake water levels continue to rise threatening homes and business along the lake in places like Greece, Parma, Webster and Sodus. Forecasters predict up three-quarters to one inches of rain in the area today, soaking the already hard-hit area.

Here is what you need to know:The late-season snowstorm continued to dump snow, in the area into Wednesday evening. Winter storm warnings remained in effect for heavy snowfall accumulations for the entire region. The National Weather Service reported a total of 26.7 inches had fallen at the Greater Rochester International Airport since the storm began.
