Biography

My name is Tony Quach and I am the sports reporter for Your Hometown Stations (WLIO-TV) in Lima, Ohio. I graduated from University of Southern California with a master's degree in journalism and I also have a bachelor's in television, film and media studies with a journalism option from California State University Los Angeles. I have always been interested in sports especially baseball. I was fortunate enough to have played four years of baseball in high school, but when I had to start college, I had to give up playing the sport that I love. I came to the realization that if I cannot play the sport that I love, then the next best thing would be is to cover it. And that's when I decided to become a sports journalist. My ultimate goal is to become a sports reporter for ESPN and/or MLB.
