However, when lupus attacked my body, not only was I affected physically in my body, but my skin took a huge hit. My skin went from being my pride and joy as it was bright, clear and looked years younger than my chronological age, to being a dried up mess. My facial skin turned blotchy and my the skin on my arms looked like aligator skin.
