Cierra Dringman was 10th in 1:03.49 while Abby Schopper (13th – 1:06.09) and Lauren Tucker (16th – 1:09.27) posted top-20 marks. Tucker and Alana Barron narrowly missed spots in the top 10 in the 200m.

Head coach Tyler Bell‘s team started things off in fine style. In the 125-lb. division, Ernest Grant notched a technical fall win over his foe by an 18-2 count. Teammate Hector Holguin won at 133 with a 19-3 technical fall score. Trailing 12-10, Johnathon Vincent pinned his foe in 2:11 at the 157-lb. class, giving the Panthers a 16-12 lead.
