The Sixers will be the third team Castleton has played for this season, appearing in 10 games each for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Toronto Raptors. Castleton will replace Marcus Bagley, whose 10-day contract is set to expire at midnight on April 3.

Before the Sixers’ matchup against the Miami Heat, the team announced that Drummond would miss the next five games and be re-evaluated in a week. Drummond has missed eight consecutive games, dealing with a sprained left toe and injury he’s dealt with on and off for most of the season.
