They are the most overrated American novels. (The writer would like to note that he’s actually read all of these, although there was one he couldn’t finish; no, it wasn’t #10). Admittedly, this is like shooting fish in a barrel, and the book was obviously a victim of being overhyped. However, it is also objectively bad.
