Biography
Tyler Flora joined the Record-Herald team in June of 2022 as their newest reporter. Tyler was born in Brockton, Massachusetts but moved here to Fayette County, Ohio just before the age of 2. Since graduating high school, Tyler has earned his Associate of Arts Degree from Southern State Community College, and his Bachelor of Elementary Educational Studies from Western Governors University. Prior to joining the Record-Herald, Tyler worked as an educational aide with the Washington Court House City School District for five years. Tyler has a true passion for sports. He is an avid Boston sports fan, rooting for the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox. He also supports the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He currently resides in Fayette County with his wife, Nicole, and daughter, Teagan.

After trailing 1-0 after the opening frame at home on Wednesday, Washington plated two runs in the second and one in the third to take a 3-1 lead. They kept that lead through six innings. The Blue Lions were unable to close the door in the seventh inning, allowing the Ironmen to score three runs and take a 4-3 lead.

After leading 16-0 through three innings, Jackson poured on an additional 15 runs in the top of the fourth to take a 31-0 lead, which was the final. On the mound for Jackson, Serenity Taylor pitched a perfect game, pitching all five innings and striking out 12 batters while not allowing a base runner.
