Tyrone is a music journalist and the founder of The Daily Frequency. After attending his first music festival (EDC New York), he quickly fell in love with electronic music and the culture that surrounds it. It wasn’t long before he began traveling to festivals around the US while earning his BA in Journalism from Rutgers University and later starting his career as a freelance copywriter. At the start of 2020, Tyrone combined his passion for writing and his love for EDM and launched The Daily Frequency. A media outlet that not only covers the most prominent artists in the scene but gives a voice to the underground. Focusing primarily on dubstep and house, the rising EDM outlet provides readers with breaking news, music premiers, album reviews, and in-depth interviews with some of the most prominent names in electronic dance music. On top of running The Daily Frequency, Tyrone works with artists, events, and brands to help raise brand awareness and online presence. His services include everything from artist bios, press releases, music/event promotion, and more. Above all, Tyrone aims to not only provide excellent coverage of the EDM scene but also give a voice to talented up-and-coming artists while serving as a positive advocate for the community as a whole.
