According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola in Pakistan soared by Rs8,600 in a single day, settling at a historic high of Rs348,000. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs7,373 to close at Rs298,353.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs600 to reach Rs339,400 in the local market. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams climbed by Rs514, settling at Rs290,980. On the global front, the price of gold rose by $6, with APGJSA quoting the international rate for Pakistan at $3,224 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
