At least seven passengers were killed and several others injured on Saturday, March 12, when a commercial bus traveling along the Damboa–Maiduguri road drove on an IED planted by suspected Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), the infamous terrorist group operating across the Lake Chad region.
