I am an independent journalist currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sociology at Jamia Millia Islamia, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree from the Delhi School of Journalism. My work is rooted in Delhi, where I report on gender and labour issues, with a focus on communities in resistance. I am committed to bringing ground realities to the forefront and aspire to write extensively on politics, especially through the lens of structural inequality. In addition to reporting, I am also interested in photojournalism as a tool of documentation and storytelling. I was honoured to be a fellow of the InQlusive Newsroom Fellowship by The News Minute, where I worked on issues concerning the LGBTQIA+ community and transgender individuals.
