Sheree is a James Beard-Award winning publisher of the world’s first Black lifestyle food, drink and travel media outlet, Cuisine Noir, published under her leadership since 2009. Cuisine Noir is now published under the nonprofit she founded in 2020, The Global Food and Drink Initiative. Her favorite memories include interviewing some of the most talented professionals across the country, trying new restaurants and products and being enchanted by some of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. Sheree is a 2022, 2023 and 2024 judge for the annual James Beard Awards, a trendspotter for the Specialty Food Association, 2020 Women of the Vine & Spirits Fuel Your Dream scholarship recipient and 2019 Dine Diaspora Black Women in Food honoree. To add to it all, she is also a published freelance writer and photographer and an approved contributing photographer for Getty/iStock and Shutterstock.
