Two unvaccinated school-aged children who lived in the outbreak area have died. The outbreak includes Cochran, Dallam, Dawson, Gaines, Garza, Lynn, Lamar, Lubbock, Terry and Yoakum. Ten of the cases have occurred in patients with at least one dose of the vaccination, and 351 of the cases are in children under the age of 18.
