With a lifelong passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the power of accurate information, I embarked on a journey into journalism. Writing had been my childhood dream, but fate had a different path in mind, one that led me to discover my radio voice. This journey unfolded over nearly ten incredibly fulfilling years in the world of broadcast media. My radio career took off during my third year at journalism school when I joined CityNews 680 in Toronto as a traffic reporter. I recognized the importance of getting my foot in the door, regardless of the role, and that mindset served as the cornerstone of my professional ascent. Over the years, I climbed the ranks through various positions, including anchor and editor, gaining valuable insights into the industry. My journey eventually led me to the capital, where I joined CityNews Ottawa. Here, I transitioned from a morning news anchor to the role of news director in just three years. It was this shift into management that ignited my true passion. I relish the role of guiding and assisting others on their unique career paths. While accolades and awards have never been my driving force, I envision my legacy in the number of individuals I've supported on their journey within the media landscape. My greatest pride would be the knowledge that I played a part in propelling others into greatness.
