NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) has apologised to the families of the children, who were given ten times less morphine than they should have been at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. The under-doses all occurred in one operating theatre at the hospital, during a very short period in June last year.

  • Parents of baby overdosed with paracetamol at Glasgow children's hospital demand independent investigation

Ten-week-old Zohan Ul Hassan spent two weeks in critical condition after being given ten times the correct dose of paracetamol on March 18. Zohan was undergoing a routine hernia operation when the mistake occurred.
